Because One Day Just Isn’t Enough
In Peru, the first Saturday of February is dedicated to the Pisco Sour, a national holiday for a national cocktail. But at La Mar, one day isn’t quite enough to honor the spirit that defines so much of our culinary heritage. So instead, we’re celebrating it all month long.
Throughout February, La Mar San Francisco will feature a special Pisco cocktail menu showcasing classic preparations alongside modern expressions crafted by our bar team. From citrus-forward sours to richer, aromatic builds, Pisco Month is an invitation to explore the versatility of Peru’s most iconic spirit through both familiarity and discovery. This menu is presented in collaboration with Caravedo, whose Pisco portfolio has played a key role in championing Peruvian cocktail culture around the world.
This year’s celebration also supports a mission beyond the glass. A portion of proceeds will benefit the Pachacútec Culinary Institute in Peru, an organization dedicated to training the next generation of Peruvian culinary talent and strengthening the future of our cuisine from the inside out.
Consider Pisco Sour Day the opening toast. February is Pisco Month at La Mar, a month for culture, community, and cocktails that carry a story.
